Terms and Conditions – Ecomm Boost Camp Program

 

1. Program Overview

The Ecomm Boost Camp is a 6-month program organized by AddSearch Oy (“AddSearch”). The program is exclusively designed for ecommerce store owners, with 3-5 participants selected through an application process. The program aims to optimize participants’ website search functionality and improve their overall ecommerce performance. For program implementation, AddSearch works with a partner (“Partner”) that will be responsible for website optimization. The Partner information is provided on the website of the program.

 

2. Application Process

The selection of participants follows a structured evaluation process. Applications will be reviewed based on business potential, technical feasibility, and alignment with program goals. The final selection decision rests with AddSearch and its Partner. The application process is free of charge, and applicants will be notified of their status within 60 days of application submission.

 

3. Eligibility

To participate in the program, applicants must own and operate an active ecommerce website. The website must be technically compatible with AddSearch integration requirements. Participants must possess full authority to implement changes on their website. The more detailed requirements are specified on the Ecomm Boost Camp website.

 

4. Technical Requirements

Participants must ensure their ecommerce platform meets the following requirements:

  • Administrative access to their website
  • Compatible ecommerce platform. AddSearch might specify a platform that the program is focusing on.
  • Ability to share analytics data with AddSearch and its Partner working on the program
  • Capability to implement recommended technical changes in a fast and efficient manner

 

5. Financial Terms

Ecomm Boost Camp program fee is communicated on the program website and in other relevant marketing materials. Ecomm Boost Camp aims to support small and growing ecommerce businesses and therefore offers the program to selected participants for a significant discount. In exchange for the services received and the significant discount, participants agree to the marketing terms outlined in Section 6. Participants are responsible for any internal costs associated with implementing recommended changes or participating in program activities.

 

6. Marketing and Public Communication

Participants explicitly agree to the public sharing of their program progress throughout the duration of the program. Upon program completion, participants consent to be featured in comprehensive customer case studies for both AddSearch and the Partner of the program. Based on their availability and willingness, participants may be invited to participate in additional marketing activities, including but not limited to speaking engagements at events, podcast appearances, and webinar participation.

 

7. Program Benefits

Participants will receive:

  • A complete website search setup provided by AddSearch
  • Comprehensive search experience optimization services delivered by program Partner advertised on the program website
  • Professional guidance throughout the program duration
  • Regular performance reviews and optimization recommendations
  • Technical support for implementation

 

8. Service Level Agreement

AddSearch and Looptimize commit to providing:

  • Search setup and optimization based on the program plan communicated on the website
  • Monthly progress review meetings
  • Regular optimization recommendations
  • Technical support throughout the program duration
  • Access to e-commerce search and optimization experts during the duration of the program

 

9. Participant Obligations

Participants are required to:

  • Actively engage in program activities
  • Implement recommended optimizations
  • Share relevant analytics and performance data
  • Maintain prompt communication with program organizers
  • Maintain confidentiality of program-specific information as specified
  • Participate in marketing activities as outlined in Section 6

 

10. Data Usage and Privacy

Participants grant AddSearch and its Partner permission to access website analytics, collect and analyze search-related data, and use the data for marketing purposes as agreed with the participants. All sensitive business information will be treated confidentially according to industry standards.

 

11. Confidentiality Agreement

All parties agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding proprietary information shared during the program. This obligation extends for two years beyond program completion. Proprietary information includes, but is not limited to, business strategies, technical specifications, and performance metrics not publicly disclosed. Any breach of confidentiality may result in immediate program termination and potential legal action.

 

12. Program Duration and Commitment

The program runs for a fixed duration of 6 months. Participants must commit to the full program period, as early termination may result in service discontinuation.

 

13. Results and Expectations

While performance improvements are expected, specific results cannot be guaranteed. Results may vary based on multiple factors including implementation quality, market conditions, and participant engagement.

 

14. Intellectual Property

All existing intellectual property rights remain with their respective owners. AddSearch retains all rights to its search technology, while its optimization Partner maintain rights to its optimization methodologies.

 

15. Limitation of Liability

Program organizers shall not be held liable for any business losses, revenue fluctuations, technical issues beyond their control, or third-party service disruptions that may occur during the program period.

 

16. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of war, natural disasters, pandemics, or significant technical disruptions. In such cases, both parties will work together to determine the best course of action for program continuation or modification.

 

17. Termination

The program organizers reserve the right to terminate participation if terms are violated, if the participant becomes unresponsive, or if technical requirements cannot be met.

 

18. Post-Program Obligations

Following program completion, participants agree to:

  • Participate in a final case study documentation
  • Maintain marketing rights for AddSearch and its program Partner for 24 months
  • Provide testimonials upon reasonable request
  • Share final performance metrics for program evaluation
  • Participate in one post-program review session

 

19. Modifications

These terms may be modified with proper notice to participants. Continued participation in the program following any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

 

20. Governing Law

These terms are governed by laws of Finland, and any disputes shall be resolved in Finnish courts.
